Blender

Most blender decanters may be disassembled so that the separated parts may be washed on the top rack of a dishwasher. You may also run a “cleaning cycle” using the blender itself by partially filling the decanter with water and adding a small amount of liquid dishwashing detergent, then running it on low speed. Separate the pieces, rinse well and dry.

Never immerse a blender base in water. Unplug the base first, then use household cleaner applied to a cloth or sponge to clean it; try cotton swabs to get at grime between control buttons. Soften dried-on soil by wiping the water-and cleaner solution on and waiting a couple of minutes. Repeat if necessary. Wipe dry with a damp cloth.

Caution: To reduce shock hazards, never direct spray of any kind at any electrical appliance or component.
