When a microfiber dust cloth is not ideal for dusting, such as in tight spots, cluttered areas or high surfaces, many people use feather dusters instead. These dusters are usually constructed with a wooden or plastic handle and, of course, feathers. Ostrich feathers are commonly used in high-end feather dusters because of their softness, performance and ease of use.

Feather dusters are available in a wide range of sizes and even feather colors, which differ in performance, characteristics and purpose. Feather dusters collect dust during use and can be easy cleaned by shaking the duster outside. When cleaning, keep the duster away from your face as dust will become airborne.
Always store your feather duster in a closet or an area where airborne dust is minimal.
