Danny Lipford
Home improvement expert Danny Lipford started his remodeling business when he was just 21 years old. His company, Lipford Construction, soon became one of the most respected remodeling companies in the Southeast. In the beginning days of his business, Danny and one helper did all of the work on his jobsites, from digging footings and pouring slabs to general plumbing and electrical installations. After years of experience and a proven track record, Danny not only received many prestigious building awards, but also became a (CGR) Certified Graduate Remodelor, as designated by the National Association of Home Builders Remodelors Council.
Danny's television journey started in 1988 when he was asked to host a small, live cable show in Mobile, Alabama. This small show, Remodeling Today, eventually evolved into a program shot entirely on his different job locations throughout the area. The show became an instant hit and continued to grow throughout the Southeast until it was nationally syndicated in 1998 and became Today's Homeowner with Danny Lipford. The show grew to over 125 stations in less than six months and now airs on more than 190 stations across the country.
In 2000, Danny became CBS's home improvement contributor for The Early Show. He appears live from their New York studios or trade industry shows at least twice each month to bring viewers the latest home improvement products, tips and trends. Danny can also be seen 30 - 40 times each week offering weather-related home improvement tips on The Weather Channel. He has appeared on numerous national talk shows including LIVE with Regis and Kelly, Fox & Friends, Your Money, CNN's Open House, Living it Up! with Ali & Jack, The John Walsh Show, and Home Matters. Additionally, Danny's home improvement advice is regularly published in national magazines such as "Consumer's Digest," "Real Simple," "SmartMoney," "Woman's Day Home Remodeling & Makeovers" and more. Danny's down-to-earth approach and extensive experience in all aspects of remodeling make him Today's Voice of Home Improvement.
