Jack Geibig
Jack Geibig is the Director of the Center for Clean Products and Clean Technologies at the University of Tennessee.
Mr. Geibig guides the Center's research efforts to develop and promote products and or processes that eliminate the use of toxic substances and enable sustainable product design - thereby reducing system impacts to both human health and the environment.
He is leading the development of the Green Seal Green Cleaning Services Standard. He is also collaborating with a number of chemical manufacturers to develop and bring to market green cleaning products.
Mr. Geibig currently serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Cleaner Production, and lectures on sustainable materials and green engineering at the University of Tennessee. He holds degrees in both chemical and environmental engineering, and is licensed as a Professional Engineer in the State of Tennessee.
