Intek has been in business since 1985. In 1985, Jerry Berg started Interior Technicians, Inc., providing full-service cleaning and damage restoration to Sioux Falls and the surrounding area. Starting with three employees, Intek is now over twenty years old and over 120 employees strong. Intek has a cleaning service that includes; fire and water damage clean-up and restoration, carpet and rug cleaning, furnace and duct cleaning, mold remediation, professional painting, reconstruction and remodeling, and a full service janitorial division.

Owner Jerry Berg, the only (CR) Certified Restorer in South Dakota, prides himself in setting the standard and training all employees to be professionals certified with the IICRC - Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration; BSCAI - Building Service Contractors Association International; and ASCR -Association of Specialists in Cleaning and Restoration; and certifications in mold remediation with the Environmental Education Foundation.

Eddy Syrovatka, General Manager, has crews ready for 24-hour emergency service for water and fire damage clean-up. If you need emergency services you can bet that someone from Intek will personally take your call day or night. In addition, Intek is able to send crews to clean your furnace and ducts (over 6500 homes cleaned), perform carpet and upholstery cleaning, and mold remediation.

Intek also has skilled crews that do building maintenance and janitorial services. In addition, Intek can also provide construction clean-up services, tile floor stripping and re-waxing.
