SCO Medallion Healthy Homes / Southeastern Indoor Air, using proprietary, non-corona discharge ozone generating equipment from SCO Technologies, has developed equipment and a methodology to treat mold, some VOCs, and odoriferous indoor air quality problems. Using this method, people, animals and plants are removed from the premises. The equipment is deployed by trained technicians wearing appropriate personal protective equipment. Ambient ozone concentrations are increased to the range of 5.0 to 20.0 PPM. These concentrations are maintained for several hours, depending on the problem being addressed. When treatment is complete, extraction fans are used to evacuate the excess ozone and oxidized volatile organic products that may be present in the treated air. The house is then tested to ensure a safe ozone concentration (less than 0.05 PPM) so that occupants can return in complete safety.
